CHOCOLATE CHESS PIE
Pies, Cakes and Desserts
Ingredients
Directions
2 1/2 cups sugar
7 tablespoons cocoa
4 eggs
1 1/4 cups evaporated milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 stick melted margarine
whipped cream
Put milk, eggs, vanilla and melted margarine in container of blender; mix until well-stirred. In separate bowl, stir sugar and cocoa until lumps are out of cocoa. Add sugar mixture to liquid and blend until smooth. Pour into 2 unbaked pie crusts. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes (until set). Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on each slice.
This is the only chocolate chess pie I've ever made that didn't "crack" on top. Makes it slice pretty.
