COCONUT CANDY

In heavy saucepan, mix sugar and coconut juice. Add enough water to wet well.
Cook over medium heat, without stirring, until small amount dropped in cold water will form a soft ball. Remove from heat.
Add coconut and butter. Beat until thick and loses gloss. Pour into buttered shallow dish. Allow to cool; then cut in squares.
