COCONUT POUND CAKE

Ingredients
- 1 large cake
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 2 sticks margarine
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups plain flour, mixed with
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 small can coconut
- 1 1/2 teaspoons coconut flavoring
Directions
Cream shortening and margarine with sugar. Add
eggs. Alternate adding flour and milk. Add coconut
and flavoring.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Bake in tube
pan lined on bottom with brown paper bag, cut to fit.
