Mix together and stir once a day for 10 days.
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 can (16 oz) crushed pineapple and juice
Mix together with peaches on 11th day and stir once a day for 10 days.
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 can (16 oz) fruit cocktail and juice
1 jar (10 oz) maraschino cherries, drained
Add to other fruit on 21st day and stir once a day for 10 days.
Drain fruit for 2 hours. Save juice for "starter" for friends.
Makes enough starter for 5 cups and enough fruit for 4 cakes.
