1 cup soft butter
1/2 cup sifted confectioners sugar
2 1/4 cups sifted cake flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Heat oven to 400°.
Mix butter, confectioners sugar and vanilla. Sift flour and salt.
Stir into butter mixture.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet (cookies don’t spread).
Bake 8 minutes until set but not brown.
While still warm sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
