SEVEN-MINUTE ICING

Ingredients
- 1 egg white
- 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
- pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon white corn syrup
Directions
Put all ingredients, except vanilla, in top of double boiler, over boiling water.
Beat with electric beater for 7 minutes or until icing stands in peaks. Remove from heat. Add vanilla.
Spread on cake.
