SPICED PEACH SALAD

Ingredients
- 6 servings
- 1 No. 2 1/2 can sliced peaches
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 (4") stick cinnamon
- 1 pkg orange or lemon gelatin
Directions
Combine peaches, vinegar and spices; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; cover and let stand 5 minutes.
Remove peach slices and chill. Strain hot syrup; measure, adding hot water to make 2 cups. Dissolve gelatin in the hot liquid. Chill until partially set.
Arrange peach slices in casserole dish; pour liquid over. Chill until firm.
Serve on lettuce, topped with mayonnaise.
