SUNDAY NIGHT WAFFLES
Breads
Ingredients
Directions
Beat egg white until stiff.
Beat egg yolks in separate mixing bowl; add milk and mix well.
Add flour and melted margarine.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Put about 4 tablespoons of batter into hot waffle iron; bake until it stops steaming.
We made waffles many Sunday nights when we had a crowd for supper. (Quantities are best I can judge, may need to be adjusted slightly.)
TIP: Freeze leftover pancakes or waffles on a cookie sheet. When frozen, store in freezer in a tightly closed plastic bag. Take out as needed and reheat in a toaster or microwave oven for a quick breakfast!
